No, I've only been to Bognor (a lot) and Minehead. Skegness is on my wish list one day.

@@KarionTravelling Oh ok. I went to Skegness for an 18-30s holiday when I was 21. Never again & thankfully way too old as I'm way past 30! Gosh that was er 22 years ago!

The pool at Skegness looks fun though! I was probably too inebriated to go swimming back then 😂 😂 😂

@Hayley-dm2je I went to Ibiza in my early 20s, and now we're planning to go again. I love the Butlins Big Weekenders, so hopefully, I can handle a 24-hour Ibiza party. 😉

Was that in the May half term? I wonder if it's different out of peak breaks or if they had someone off sick. Have you been to Highfield Grange? That's probably the best Essex Parkdean we've been to so far.

I find graters are hit and miss whether you get one too, so we take our own. We tried to cook pizza in the caravan once, and it took over an hour, I don't find the oven gets hot enough so we mainly use the hob. 🙂

@@KarionTravelling We had one burnt before the other even started cooking 🤭

@discodiva8879 we had pizza, French fries and garlic bread, all should have taken the same amount of time, but the pizza was still cold and the garlic break was burnt🤦🏻‍♀️. We take an air fryer now.

@@KarionTravelling Yes it back in 2020 because it used to have some really nice retro arcade games, but now they removed all of the retro game with traditional and new games including a lot of VR machines there was one retro game that was the star my favourite Arcade game

I like visiting resorts we haven't been to for a few years, to see how they've changed.

@@KarionTravelling Last time I came to Valley farm was back in October 2022 and my favourite Starland Krew character was Sparky because he has a very clever shirt

What do you have in your one day travel kit?

It was a few years ago now, so I don't honestly remember. But I know it rained hard all weekend, so I possibly wouldn't have noticed. I've had a few greasy pots and pans in the past though, we have a bag of cleaning products that we always take, that's helps to make sure everything is clean and tidy before we use it. 🙂

@NikitaSangany I hope you have a brilliant time. We've had a bronze with dishwasher, but I don't think they come as standard yet - but the newer ones seem to have them.

I think it's changed yet again, and now it's an Away Resorts park.

I agree they need to invest in accommodation as it's very old now. I would have done that rather than build the new Xperience centre. This is why I also avoid peak holiday time. It's too busy, and I don't think it's as good value for money as off peak. But I appreciate that a lot of people have no choice.

It's much bigger than Bognor, if I were to go again, I like the look of the bungalows. It's weird because it's familiar, but not at the same time. I wouldn't go for less than a week, purely because of the distance away from us.

@@KarionTravelling Yes that's true. It's about 4 hours by train from Portsmouth & then an hour & 20 mins by bus too, so I'm not sure I can be 'bothered' to travel so long when I've already booked the winter wonderland break at Bognor this year :) The steam train looks fun though & the bungalows look cosy too :)

I don't think Minehead has great links for public transport, especially the train. Have you been to Skegness? It's still on my wish list, but with so many great places to visit, it's hard to justify a long drive and the price in school holidays.

@hybridangel3403 I think it should be compulsory to BYOB. I would take two, just to be on the safe side 😁

That's hard because they all have their plus points. The Wave apartments have a great view and plenty of room, and the Ocean is close to the fair, splash and spa. My favourite is probably the Shoreline, but in the Neilson staterooms.

I like the Wave, it's got nice theming and the kids' room, with the porthole, is really fun.

They're great for a couple, or family with small children. We found them a little bit of a squeeze with three adults and a child, but they're modern and warm, and I would happily stay in one again. 😊

That's worth knowing, we've recently stayed in a Travelodge super room, and people seemed to like having a bath. I like them for the kids, but I prefer a PI plus shower personally.

I would do the special events again. I think it makes the day a little different. A bit more themed food would have been good.

I think there has been a mirror in every hotel room I've stayed in in the last few years, I guess they come as standard now.

They may have refurbished them, or maybe he was given a plus room - did he have a coffee maker?. I know T2/3 has been completely redone since we were last there.

Depends on the model, but generally, I would say no. Especially in the three bed caravans.

I think most parks have the choose your holiday home option if you have booked direct. If you log in to your online account, there should be the option to pick where you would like to stay, the price, and also if you wanted to upgrade, how much that will be too.

Which grade are you staying in? I have videos on all of them, they vary slightly from model to model, but will all meet the required criteria for that grade.

I've heard that you can't share facilities with Weymouth Bay anymore, but I haven't conformed it.

@ALEXANDRABOAMPONG parking for the Seaside apartments runs parallel with the beach, behind Studio 36/the Skyline. It's first come, first parked. They provide trolleys and if there is overflow parking around the Splash. You'll enter by the main entrance and be directed towards your drive thru. There is plenty of parking, it's just 5-10 minutes walk from the apartments.
